RFC 2011 – Appsolute Power Panel

The advent of tablets and smart phones has offered great potential for a new, highly profitable digital ‘content’ market.
But, at a time when artists’ and labels’ budgets are restricted, the gold digger spirit is tempered by consideration of the cost/benefit analysis, which apparently so far has not been sufficiently answered.
So – are apps the marketing tool of the future, truly a genuine boost to selling music and more, guaranteeing sales and profits?
At the Reeperbahn Festival Campus 2011 a panel of experts sat down to discuss these and other questions.
On stage we had Kim de Ruiter (Noise Inc, UK), Stephen O’ Reilly (Director of International Sales, Mobile Roadie, UK) and Wilfried Zeise (Country Manager Greencopper Publishing, DE).
The host was Steve Mayall (MusicAlly, UK).
